Phillip Lim does Comic

No, you aren’t reading wrong!

Philip Lim indeed does… a Comic book!

Taking insight, as it seems, from the black and white “dark” series of Sin City and with his “runway muses”, his real life heroines as an inspiration, he captures in his comic book the essence of the Phillip Lim woman.

The book will debut on NYCs Fashion Night Out on September 6^th and can also be sold through his online shop 31philliplim.com.

And the best touch is that every superheroine costume is from his Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 collection and is. Of course, shoppable!

Will we see a second book for his Spring collection?

We certainly hope so!!!

Birthday! xD

So I'm back...
Just in time for my and my boyfriends birthday!
(mine are on the 19th,his on the 21st so we celebrate on the 20th! hehehe!!!)
So I made a cake... had some people over and had an amazing evening!

I wore my baby pink H&M ruffle dress and my Topshop white platforms and
he wore the ASOS tee i got him!

Summer Essentials 2012 - to the sea!

Yeah, it's this time of the year again...

This time when we "hit" the beach!!!

AGAIN!

What are the Must-Haves?

Of course a bikini or two 

(or even a monokini/swimsuit if you like!)

A pair of classic Havaianna flip-flops

A huge shopper or tote bag!

(Nylon or canvas preferably)

Sun spray, SPF15 lip balm

a light beach reading or a magazine

your oh-so-faithful sunglasses

and girly,summery, cover up or one piece of course!

So go bold and bright with the fluos if you dare, they are a must right now and in some bikinis they actually look not so... bright!
Or go pastel and sweet, like this TOPSHOP mix and match set i have pinned here!
As for the tie-dye trend? I would rather recommend it for a cover up, like on this kaftan!
Plus! If you have that heart-shaped or oval-shaped face you are lucky enough to look pretty with round sunglasses! OWN IT! WORK IT! LOVE IT! How can you resist those lenses anyway?
